Code of Ethics
Scientific research is the presentation of a problem and the subject's research, examination, and evaluation using universal scientific methods. The basic principles to be applied in scientific research are to have the necessary competence in the design and conduct of the research, to maintain self-criticism, honesty, and transparency during the conduct of the research and the analysis of the findings, and to respect the work of those who have researched the same subject.
Three important principles of scientific research ethics are to approach the research problem honestly, to be honest in reporting research results, and to make visible the contribution of everyone involved in the research.
A scientific study must comply with research methodology and research ethics. At the beginning of the research, the tasks in the research process and the distribution of all rights in publications should be determined. False data declaration, producing false data, and using someone else's data without permission constitute ethical violations. All sources (including electronic) and methods used for data collection and analysis should be presented in the study.
The purpose of scientific publication is to share and disseminate the knowledge and know-how produced and developed and, as a result, to advance science for the benefit of humanity. In a scientific publication prepared in line with this purpose, the information in the publication must be accurate and complete, the publication must not contain intentionally incomplete information, 'scientific ethics' must be followed in the production and development of information, and only the information and data developed and compiled within the scientific system should be published, The content of the publication should be unbiased; personal interests, concerns, political views and beliefs should not influence the publication; all sources used in the publication should be cited; the contributions of those who have contributed to the production, compilation, measurement and preparation of the information in the publication should be acknowledged as authors or with acknowledgments.
The Most Common Ethical Violations
Plagiarism is publishing the ideas, data, works, and publications of others as one's own, in whole or in part, without giving the necessary citations and references in accordance with scientific procedures.
Unfair Authorship is to include people who have not actively contributed or not to include people who have contributed, to change the order of authors in an unjustified and inappropriate manner, to remove the names of active contributors from the work in subsequent editions, to use one's influence to have one's name included among the authors even though one has not actively contributed. This violation may be in the form of Pseudonymous Authorship or Author Hiding.
Pseudonymous (Gift) Authorship "Appearing/appearing as an author in a study (in the design of the study, collection of data, evaluation, preparation, and approval of the publication) without making a sufficient contribution."
Ghost Authorship is "not including one's name among the authors even though one has contributed to the study."
Violating the Voluntary Participation Principle forces students or other participant groups to participate in the research.
Failure to Obtain Informed Consent is to obtain the consent of volunteers participating in the research without adequately informing them about the application steps and risks of the research.
Violating the Privacy Principles is sharing personal or institutional data obtained from participants without legal obligation and not keeping the participants' identities in the research confidential.
Fabrication is creating non-existent or falsified data or results in scientific research. Falsification is the deliberate falsification of research records or data obtained, the use of devices or materials not used in the research, the falsification of research results, or the omission of data in line with the interests of the people and organizations receiving support.
Salami Slicing (Salami Slicing) is dividing the research results into parts in a way that disrupts the integrity of the research, inappropriately publishing them in more than one number and presenting these publications as separate publications in academic appointments and promotions. Dividing and publishing a study to increase the number of publications is also within the same scope.
Duplication is publishing the same work in more than one publication medium".

7) If any funding (including funding for Open Access) was used, it should be clearly indicated in the acknowledgments section.
8) Individuals who did not contribute intellectually to the creation of the work should not be listed as authors.
9) All manuscripts submitted for publication must disclose any conflicts of interest, if any.
10) Authors must have the rights to use the data used, the necessary permissions related to the research, and a document showing that the consent of the experimental subjects has been obtained.
