People's addiction to tobacco and tobacco products is among these habits. Among tobacco and tobacco products, cigarettes are the most widely used and the first thing that comes to mind in societies. The continuation of the course of addiction in this way has created a big problem in the global context and has also put great pressure on the health systems of the states. The correct use of scarce resources in the field of health is very important for states. Some steps have been taken in the local and national context in order to prevent serious illnesses and deaths due to tobacco and tobacco products. In this context, the World Health Organization took a step forward by designing the "Tobacco Control Framework Agreement" in 2003 and the "MPOWER" package program in 2008. With this practice, there have been noticeable advances in tobacco control in most of the countries in the world. In order for this progress to be sustainable, the application areas of the package should be expanded. Otherwise, it will be difficult to prevent the negative effects of tobacco and tobacco products.
