Sports are an essential field of activity that enhances individuals' physical and mental health, strengthens social bonds, and improves quality of life. However, the dynamic and competitive nature of sports can sometimes bring various injury risks. These injuries can affect not only athletes' physical health but also their careers, psychological well-being, and living standards. This study has been prepared with the aim of compiling scientific and practical knowledge within a broad framework, ranging from the definition of sports injuries to their prevention, from acute interventions to rehabilitation processes. Our goal is not only to convey fundamental information about sports injuries but also to help readers understand current approaches in this field and enable them to utilize this knowledge in both professional and academic settings. A multidisciplinary perspective has been adopted in the preparation of this book, utilizing numerous sources. Designed as a guide for sports physicians, physiotherapists, coaches, and healthcare professionals, this work also serves as a valuable reference for athletes and individuals interested in sports. I believe that this study will raise awareness about the prevention of sports injuries and the improvement of rehabilitation processes.
