Synopsis

Improving athletic performance has always been the focus of interest of sports scientists1. With the development of technology and scientific methods, the sports world has stepped into a more detailed performance analysis process than ever before. Performance analysis is a method for evaluating the technical, tactical, physical and mental states of athletes and teams. Performance analysis can be performed using various methods and tools. Video analysis, data collection, statistical evaluations and feedback mechanisms are the basic components of this process. The data obtained during training and competitions are used to improve the performance of athletes. Thus, technical errors are identified, tactical strategies are created and the physical condition of athletes is monitored.
