Synopsis
Sport, which has started to take more place in the life of modern people with the effect of globalization, is a social phenomenon that directly affects social life today. It is gradually increasing and consolidating its place in human life with various branches and global-based activities. Thanks to the mass media, the participation of all social classes in sports, beyond traditional societies, has been realized directly and indirectly, both by watching and mass performing in modern life. It has been important for sports sociology to examine and research the social rules system and laws of sports in terms of sociology, the relationship that society creates with sports, and the effect of sports on human behavior. Established as a sub-discipline of the science of sociology, sports sociology is concerned with the place and function of sports in human life, its relationship with social institutions and its social functions. Socialization defines the process by which a person feels his/her development in the society, belonging to the society and being a part of the society. Group dynamics is a general term used to describe the field of research devoted to understanding these processes and behaviors, or more specifically, it provides information about the nature of groups, the laws of development, and the relationships of individuals with other groups. There is the same harmony, harmony and similarity between individuals and the groups they belong to. What is meant by similarity here is that people have the same characteristic features. Durkheim expressed the harmony brought about by the common similarity characteristics of all individuals in a small society as mechanical solidarity. Social values such as the beliefs, customs and values of the society act as the mortar that binds the bricks of the building together. In terms of cultural integration, benefiting from the effect of sports has positive results. Athletes' mingling with each other in international competitions, getting to know different cultures and participating in sports activities in a gentlemanly manner will enable them to approach different cultures more respectfully, to accept differences, and to develop their visions. Sports individual; It makes positive contributions to interacting with people with different cultures, different beliefs and different thoughts, and thus, getting rid of his own narrow world and socializing in wider circles. Sport is an important means of interaction not only with those involved in sporting activities, but also with the audience.
