Synopsis

The introduction emphasizes the critical importance of the furniture industry to Turkey's economy, highlighting its wide product range and innovative designs that have established a strong presence in both domestic and export markets. The study explores the historical development, economic contributions, and employment impacts of key regions such as İnegöl, İzmir, Ankara, Kayseri, and İstanbul.

The aim of the study is to examine the potential of Turkey's furniture industry, its significance at local and international levels, and the strategies of leading companies operating within the sector. The research method is based on a review of the literature and analysis of sectoral data. The study reveals that Re&De investments, innovative designs, and sustainable production processes in the sector contribute significantly to global competitiveness.

In the conclusion, it is stated that Turkey’s furniture industry is a key player in both local and international markets, achieving a competitive position worldwide through innovative designs and high-quality production processes. In summary, the sector is highlighted for its contributions to economic growth, employment, and exports, strengthening Turkey's global market power.
