Synopsis
The aim of this study is to define the phenomenon of organizational stress and to determine the methods of coping with organizational stress. The study also aims to determine the sources of stress encountered within the organization and the strategies of employees to cope with stress. In this context, the descriptive scanning model was used in the study. The results were presented by scanning the international and national sources in the literature. The research results show that organizations play an important role in stress management, that methods of coping with stress are directly related to the cultural structures, leadership styles and supportive work environments of organizations, and that effective stress management strategies are important in increasing the work performance and general well-being of employees. In addition, the research results show that the training of employees in organizations in stress management, supportive policies and measures taken to ensure work-life balance improve the process. The findings obtained from the research are an important guide for organizations in developing strategies to combat stress.
