It is known that technology can be defined as all the information needed in the production of goods and services in general meaning. It is understood that the phenomenon intended to be expressed with the concept of technological innovation is the radical changes that occur in some or all of the production elements. It is seen that the concept of innovation has entered the literature in the sense of adapting and implementing new creative ideas or inventions to economic areas such as trade, industry and services. In this context, it is observed that there is a cyclical process from technology to innovation and that the advances in technology affect all economic activities. It is thought that the banking sector is one of the sectors that will be affected by technological innovations with the key role it plays in creating the financing needed to carry out economic activities and transferring it to the right channels. In recent years, it has been seen that the developments in technology have accelerated the digitalization of the banking sector. It would not be wrong to say that the developments in the sector brought about by this digitalization both globally and in Turkey are a matter of curiosity.

For this purpose, the study will attempt to evaluate the technological progress experienced in recent years and the reflections of the technological developments and innovations that have emerged as a result of this progress on the Turkish banking sector, and what kind of changes they have created in the sectoral sense.
