Synopsis

The physiological and biochemical effects of exercise during Muay Thai practice are highly significant. Exercise impacts the body’s energy production processes and increases metabolic activity. Additionally, hormonal changes during exercise influence biochemical pathways. Muay Thai, a high-intensity self-defense sport, results in a notable increase in lactate levels. Understanding the physiological and biochemical effects of exercise is crucial for enhancing performance and preventing injuries. Examining biochemical changes such as energy production, oxidative stress, and recovery processes provides a scientific basis for personalizing athletes' training programs and improving their performance.
