Synopsis
In this study, the Social Market project which initiated within the framework of corporate social responsibility is discussed and the role of such social responsibility projects in universities is examined. The project aims to meet the basic needs of all students registered at the Vocational School by providing free food, clothing, and household goods. Additionally, it encourages students to donate clothes and household items they no longer use, promoting recycling and zero waste awareness. So, the project not only supports students but also achieves important goals such as the efficient use of resources and raising environmental awareness. The study addresses operational elements such as the implementation process of the project, student participation, donation management, and resource distribution. Furthermore, both the social impacts of the project which encourage individual assistance, and the environmental benefits through recycling are discussed.
