Bibliometric Analysis of Research on Humble Leadership Using Vosviewer

Synopsis

The aim of this study is to thoroughly examine the development of the concept of Humble Leadership and the scope of the related literature. The research seeks to systematically summarize the existing literature on Humble Leadership using bibliometric analysis and to identify research trends and gaps related to the concept. The analysis is based on bibliometric data from 375 articles published between 2012 and 2023 in the Web of Science database. The study identifies Zhang Li, Chu Xixi, Ding He, and Al Hawamdeh Nayel as the most prolific authors. According to publication count, China ranks first with 33 articles, Pakistan second with 7 articles, and the USA third with 5 articles. In terms of citation counts, China leads with 551 citations, followed by the USA with 145 citations, and Taiwan with 74 citations. Renmin University of China and Harbin Institute of Technology stand out prominently in terms of both publication and citation counts compared to other institutions. Among the most cited authors, Zhang Li ranks first with 75 citations; Ali Mudassar and colleagues are second with 74 citations, and Liu Jieqiong and others are third with 71 citations. The most frequently used keyword in publications related to Humble Leadership is "Humble Leadership" (46 occurrences). This is followed by "Psychological Safety" (4 occurrences) and "Psychological Empowerment" (3 occurrences). This comprehensive analysis provides a valuable resource for identifying significant trends and gaps in the literature.
