Synopsis
With the COVID-19 global pandemic crisis, the business world has faced a serious test and the effects of this process are still ongoing. The effects of the crisis in question and the effects of digital technologies are progressing at a dizzying pace and creating a serious wave of change. The pressure created by all these factors has triggered the survival instinct of businesses. Academic studies conducted during the pandemic process focus more on the factors that are effective in successful crisis management, the approaches that can be used and the steps to be taken.
Within the scope of this study, an attempt has been made to answer the question of what approaches should be considered in the aftermath of the pandemic and within the framework of an effective crisis management in a broad framework. As a result of the literature review, it has been observed that the concepts and approaches of strategic flexibility, agility/agile management, technological adaptation and sustainability are generally emphasized in relation to crisis management. In the study, conceptual definitions and explanations regarding the crisis management process and these approaches are given. At the same time, their relations with each other are also mentioned. In the last part, a general evaluation of the information obtained and recommendations for the future are presented.
