Synopsis

The Olympics has turned into a global organization starting from Ancient Greece and continuing until today. It is organized as a sports feast where athletes of all countries globally exhibit their skills and talents. The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics is an important example of the games' relationship with the modern order of states and its position as a tool of new diplomacy. The opening ceremony of the games was presented as an LGBT propaganda activity targeting international influence with the details in the fiction and the intensity of the messages, and this propaganda was transmitted to millions of viewers through the live broadcast of the Olympics. In this context, in this study, a content analysis was conducted in the sample of the news in the newspapers by associating the Olympics, which have continued throughout history in the global context, with different propaganda and discrimination and political debates. It has been revealed that the Paris Olympics have determined different policies on a global scale and that they have a discriminatory approach to LGBT, religious discrimination and politically close masses.
