Although many definitions have been made for leadership, one of the important concepts in management and organization, it is accepted that there are as many explanations as researchers are studying the topic. In studies on the concepts of leader and leadership, the leader has been defined, distinguishing characteristics have been identified, it is accepted that leadership emerges with the presence of followers, and the behaviors exhibited in certain situations have been emphasized and examined. The relationships between the leader, who is found to have traits such as honesty, trust-building, persuasion, communication skills, creativity, intelligence, and charisma, and the followers who are influenced by and accept these characteristics, are also a subject of study. In the integrity formed by the leader and followers, the leader must understand the needs and expectations of all followers and guide them towards goals by knowing the characteristics of each. Scientific studies have sought to understand how successful and effective leadership processes work. The effort to understand the leader and the dynamics of leadership has often been reflected in cinema as well; the stories of leaders who are unforgettable throughout human and management history have been the subject of art and popular culture products. Military leaders, founders of countries and administrators, religious leaders, ideological leaders, coaches of sports teams, or sometimes teachers who are effective on their students, managers and entrepreneurs of world-famous companies, with their personality traits, values, impact on followers, and behaviors, have been the subject of many films. In this section, leadership, leadership approaches, and films dealing with the leader and leadership are introduced, and examples from such films are provided. These examples are selected from scientific studies on films of various genres and the author's own observations.
