Organizational Toxicity

Synopsis

Organizational toxicity refers to a situation in which negative social dynamics and behaviors in the organization negatively affect the psychological and emotional health of employees. It is usually caused by factors such as poor management, lack of communication, mobbing and discrimination. It has consequences such as high employee absenteeism, low motivation and low productivity, increased stress and job dissatisfaction. It is possible to get rid of organizational toxicity with strategies such as effective communication, empathy, feedback culture and employee support programs. In this section, the concept of toxicity, organizational toxicity, its causes and consequences are explained.
