The aim of this research is to reveal the rural tourism potential of Yeşilova Salda Lake and to develop suggestions for the future. In the examinations made with the secondary data obtained using the scanning technique, it was understood that the region is suitable for rural tourism and Salda Lake is a center of attraction. The increase in the number of tourists visiting Salda Lake positively affects the development of tourism in the district. However, due to this increase, negative situations such as environmental pollution arise and in addition, the inadequacy of services to meet the needs of visitors negatively affects regional tourism. These problems necessitate various measures to be taken in Yeşilova Salda Lake for the sustainable development of tourism and the protection of the lake. Studies such as environmental protection projects, improvement of infrastructure and superstructure services contribute to the growth of tourism and can guarantee the transfer of natural beauties to future generations. In this context, the development of effective strategies with the cooperation of local governments, non-governmental organizations and investors in the region is of great importance.
