The air transportation sector faces increasingly intense competition in the globalized world. This situation has rendered the satisfaction of customer expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction a critical success factor. The provision of quality service plays a key role in air carriers' attainment and sustenance of competitive advantage. In this study, the service quality of air passenger transportation enterprises in Turkey was analyzed using the Integrated SWARA-MAIRCA method. The data for this study were obtained from the online records of company X, which supplies customers to air carriers, between 01.01.2024 and 31.07.2024. In the two-stage application of the relevant integrated multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approach, the service quality criteria were first weighted using the SWARA method, and then the air carriers were ranked using the MAIRCA method. According to the results of the analysis, the air carrier with the highest service quality was found to be A4 (Lufthansa). This finding offers significant implications for enterprises in the Turkish airline industry aiming to gain a competitive edge. Furthermore, it was concluded that MCDM methods can be employed effectively in service quality evaluations in the sector. The study is considered to be guiding for air carriers to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen their competitive position against rivals. In the future, it is recommended to conduct similar analyses using more comprehensive data sets and different MCDM techniques.
