Synopsis
Domestic and international travel for both vacation and health treatment is defined as health tourism. In recent years, with the increase in the number of domestic and international travellers to receive health services, health tourism has become an important source of income. In terms of health tourism, Turkey is one of the world's important health tourism centres with its geographical location, underground resources, hot springs, natural beauties, historical structure, and the provision of appropriate and quality health services.
