Synopsis
Wellbeing is defined as the ability to recognize the skills possessed, to work productively by contributing to society, and to cope with difficulties and to look at life with positive emotions. Wellbeing in the workplace is related to the concepts of life and occupational health, satisfaction, and coping with mobbing, stress, and burnout in the workplace. In this sense, the wellbeing of employees is of vital importance for organizations. In order for personnel working in health services in particular to provide quality-oriented services, they need to work in healthy and happy workplaces and be in work environments where they can demonstrate their talents. For this reason, it is essential to have managers who prioritize the wellbeing of employees in hospitals, and to improve and measure wellbeing in the workplace. For this reason, this section aims to understand wellbeing, wellbeing in the workplace, and especially wellbeing in health institutions, to determine the conditions affecting this concept, and to help the current information conveyed to be used in health institutions.
