Synopsis
This study addresses the concept of danger from an educational and managerial perspective. It aims to emphasize the importance of qualified manpower in the formation of disaster-resistant cities through the content of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Emergency and Disaster Management Associate Degree Program. Within the scope of this purpose, it examines the relationship of the program with the 5th Level Turkish Higher Education Qualifications (THEQ) in terms of knowledge, skills and competence. In addition, by considering the contribution of the course learning outcomes within the scope of the program, in relation to the program outcomes; employment of qualified graduates focusing on needs emphasizes that it is important in terms of actionable steps that can be developed before a possible danger, especially managers and decision makers. It offers a visionary perspective that focuses on educational and administrative outcomes for practitioners.
