Synopsis

Plyometric training is an effective exercise method used to improve the basic motor characteristics of athletes. These workouts include movements that involve rapid stretching of the muscles followed by a sudden contraction. Plyometric exercises contribute many to basic motor characteristics such as muscle strength, explosive power, speed and agility. As a result within the scope of the relevant section; The movements performed within the scope of plyometric training involve rapid stretching and response of the muscles. Regarding the plyometric training method performed in this context, it can be said that sports also contribute to performance parameters such as jumping, acceleration and sudden change of direction. In addition, it is also ensured that muscle strength and elasticity are increased through plyometric training. Thus, it can be said that athletes can perform stronger and more dynamic movements with the plyometric training method.
