Synopsis
Central Asia has been the target point of all great civilizations throughout history and powerful states have been established in these lands for centuries. Undoubtedly, the largest of the states established here were founded by the Turks and although these states were destroyed over time by being affected by external factors and internal political events, they came together again and succeeded in establishing an authority. Undoubtedly, one of the most important of these states is Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan emerges as the most effective power in the region in terms of both its underground resources and its geographical location. With the Turks losing power in the region, the dominance of China and Russia in the region continued for a long time. Especially, during the Tsarist and Soviet rule, Russia became the patron of the region. During the IX and X. Centuries, Islam began to spread in the region, and at the same time, the belief in the old religion, the Sky God, was continued. As a result of the policies implemented after Russia began to dominate the region, some communities accepted Christianity. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, religious activities were liberated and Islam began to be adopted more comfortably and widely by the people.
