Synopsis
In today's world, the rapid advancement of technology and market developments have necessitated the restructuring of traditional postal services. Especially with the digitalization of the communication network, people are turning to more accessible and accessible applications. This process will allow postal, communication and cargo businesses to be evaluated in a wide range of areas from user-friendly interfaces on their websites to tracking systems, customer support and payment options, and will create opportunities to provide more effective online services.
In the study, TOPSIS method was used to measure the content richness of the websites of the most preferred corporate postal, communication and cargo companies operating in Turkey. This method is effective in solving multi-criteria decision making problems. With this method, 4 main criteria, namely ease of use, corporate information, page content and orientation, were determined for ranking the websites of the businesses. Among these criteria, ease of use measures the ability of website visitors to easily navigate and access the information they want; corporate information criterion measures the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the information provided about the business; page content measures the diversity and comprehensiveness of the information contained in the website; and routing criterion measures the ability of the website to direct users to other pages or content. The 5 most preferred postal, communication and cargo businesses were included in the analysis, and the websites of the businesses were examined and ranked according to their content richness within the scope of the determined criteria.
