The fact that woven textile material offers a wide range of applications on the human body or plastic arts by creating different surfaces with manipulation techniques has paved the way for artists to be interested in textiles. Weaving surfaces gained dimension in this way enabled textile and fashion to be interpreted within the concept of art. Designers' ability to apply different techniques to the textile surface to give it color, size and appearance has become an effective tool for expressing their ideas. In this study, some of the techniques used in fabric manipulation with the sewing method, hand gathering, machine gathering, pleating, rib and ruffle techniques were applied, and the results on the fabric surface were determined by trial method and a fabric surface design was tried to be created.
