One of the most important needs of human beings in their life cycle is clothing. In fact, it is a tool that carries the traces of the past, the economic situation, the status, and the traces of the culture we interact with to the present.

In many parts of Anatolia, especially Turkmen who are the continuation of Oguz tribes, there are traces of shamanism in special clothes. Turkey in Eastern Anatolia, South East Anatolia and Central Anatolia and Western Anatolia nomads are called many ethnic Turkmen.

In this context, the bridal headdresses worn in Konya/Ilgın Belekler village were examined and the Belekler village bridal headdress was examined and evaluated in terms of its cultural characteristics related to tradition and belief system, based on the elevation of the bridal headdress form and the similarities of the colored bird feathers used in decoration with shaman headdresses.
