Synopsis

The aim of the study is to examine the effects of today's technological changes on consumer behavior and businesses and to understand the new-age technologies that have emerged recently. The rapid development of digital technologies has brought about some changes in traditional marketing methods. In recent years, it has been observed that digital marketing has emerged by implementing traditional marketing strategies through different channels with the internet and new-age technologies.

The main purpose of the study is to explain Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Machine Learning technologies, which we refer to as new or digital age technologies, and to investigate their relationship with marketing and their effects on marketing. In this regard, in the study, publications related to the subject in the literature were examined and the literature review was presented in the form of a table. Additionally, the prominent aspects of digital age technologies are presented in tabular form.

As the findings of the study; It has been seen that Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies benefit from obtaining, analyzing, and predicting big data, as well as better understanding consumer behavior through this data. Customer experience is improved by enhancing consumers' product experiences with augmented reality and virtual reality technologies. With the Internet of Things, access to information about consumers becomes easier, and personalized experiences can be created through communication between people and objects. With Blockchain technology, the security of data and transactions is increased, providing confidence to customers. Especially data privacy and the sense of trust created in payment methods are especially important for marketing.

Implementing digital marketing strategies together with traditional marketing strategies provides marketing benefits. It is seen that new technologies that have emerged in recent years create great advantages in digital marketing strategies. When these technological developments, which provide benefits in many areas such as consumer behavior analysis, product innovation, personalized advertising and experiences, improvement of customer experience, market research and forecasts, and improvements in the supply chain, are incorporated into their business processes by businesses, they will be able to gain an advantage over their competitors.
