The purpose of this research was to examine the issue of racism in sports in detail. For this reason, the history of racism, its classification, its relationship with sports, the impact of immigrant societies, examples of racism encountered in the world and in Turkey, and racism problems in sports branches have been examined in detail. In addition, what are the precautions and sanctions taken in the world and in our country regarding racism? The answer to the question has been sought. The current sanctions on this subject are presented to the readers in this book section. As a result, what needs to be done to prevent racism is to raise public awareness, create discussion environments on both national and international platforms with scientific data on racism, and it is very important to establish anti-racist research groups in our country and to support scientists and non-governmental organizations working on this subject.
