This research focuses on the changes in the dynamics of series production since 2016, when digital broadcasting platforms started broadcasting in Turkey. Within the scope of the research, interviews were conducted with 13 participants who were involved in the creative and technical teams of both television and digital broadcasting platform series. The participants were selected from producers, directors, screenwriters, actors, directors, camera, sound crew and digital broadcasting platform production managers who have worked in Netflix, Blu Tv, Gain, Exxen, Disney+, beIN Connect series. The first part of the study provides an overview of television production dynamics, the second part provides information about the transition to digital platforms, and the third part shares the results of the field research. The series are evaluated in terms of funding and budget management, pre-production processes, episode durations, working conditions, originality, freedom and continuity. The evaluations address the similarities and differences between the dynamics of series production on digital broadcasting platforms and television.
