Synopsis

Workplace health psychology is supported and advocated by management scientists, sociologists and clinical psychologists. Recently, the concept of organizational loneliness has become a popular research topic in western occupational health psychology. In Turkey, however, research on the spread of organizational loneliness among employees is limited. In today's Turkey, the transformation of society and economic problems have brought many problems in the workplace. To some extent, these problems lead to the spread of organizational loneliness. Organizational loneliness, which is a common negative feeling in the workplace, leads to a series of negative effects at the level of working individuals and the organization. This situation reduces the quality of service provided to citizens and satisfaction, especially in public organizations. Organizational loneliness has become an important problem in today's business world and has caused negative organizational situations such as decreased job satisfaction of employees, decreased job performance, productivity and efficiency levels, decreased organizational commitment and sense of belonging.
