Synopsis
Nasal fractures account for more than fifty percent of all facial fractures in adults(1).These fractures are mostly caused by sport injuries,vehicle accidents ,falling from a height and as a result of fighting,blunt blows to the middle of the face.Since nasal fractures are the most common ENT emergencies and some of them are classified as forensic case category,patient’s evaluations and registrations/recordings should be done elaborately.An epidemiological study has shown that the causes of nasal fractures vary according to geographic region,socioeconomic status,culture and religion(2).Nasal fracture management includes intervention with appropiate technique at the appropiate time.Nasal fractures are classified differently by the authorities clinically and radiologically.According to these classifications,open or closed reduction method is applied.İf the appropiate intervention is not done on time,functional and cosmetic problems,that are difficult to compansate may occur
