Peer review process |
Review Timing: After Submission Reviewed Text: Full Text Review Process: Multiple External Reviewers Review Process: Double Blinding Decision Process: Editorial Board Ozgur Press adopts a policy of double-anonymized refereeing for the books it publishes. All book manuscripts submitted to Ozgur Press for publication are subjected to pre-checking and plagiarism checking with Turnitin software to ensure that there are no deficiencies in terms of basic requirements before the peer review process begins. Book manuscripts are then subjected to external peer review. External experts, not editors or editorial board members, take part in the peer review process. The Editor-in-Chief determines external reviewers. Reviewer reports are reviewed by the Editorial Board. Revised texts are reviewed again by the Editor-in-Chief. The final decision on books is made by the Editorial Board of Ozgur Press. The Editor-in-Chief informs the author of the decision. |

Book Processing Charge (BPC) |
As open-access ebooks are freely available for everyone to read, additional revenue sources are required to help cover the costs of publication. The process of preparing works for publication is no different from publishing houses that publish printed books. A Book or Chapter Processing Charge (BPC/CPC) covers all the costs of commissioning, managing peer review, copyediting and proofreading, production, dissemination, and promotion, including online hosting and indexing. |

Copyright and Licensing Policies |
Ozgur Publications has been publishing in the Gold Open Access model since June 15, 2022. Golden Open Access is free, instant, and permanent online access to the published version of a work. All books published by our publishing house can be read online and downloaded as free PDFs immediately after publication. The authors own the copyright of the books and book chapters published by Ozgur Press, and their works are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). |
