Ozgur Press has been publishing in the Gold Open Access model since June 15, 2022. Golden Open Access is free, instant, and permanent online access to the published version of a work. Readers can read all books online and download them as free PDFs immediately after publication.
The authors own the copyright to the books and book chapters published by Ozgur Press, and their works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. The Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license permits sharing, copying, reproducing, and adapting the work in any size and format, except for commercial use, including remixing, transforming, and building upon the work, provided proper attribution is given to the original work. Readers may download, copy, share, and modify the books, provided full attribution is given to the original work and not for commercial purposes. Open-access content is far more likely to be downloaded and cited. Research has found that open-access book chapters are downloaded seven times more than non-OA titles, are cited 50% more, and are mentioned online ten times more.
