Synopsis
Cervical cancer is an important women's health problem that is rapidly spreading in the world and in our country. Cervical cancer processes consist of the surgical process, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and, home care processes. Women diagnosed with cervical cancer experience uncertainty about what awaits them during treatment and follow-up. This situation negatively affects the quality of life and psychosocial status of women. Complications are frequently encountered in applications in surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and home care processes. Nursing care has a very important place in the effective management of symptoms of cervical cancer. Nurses should focus on increasing the patient's quality of life and comfort by strengthening their physical and psychosocial rehabilitation. It is of great importance for the effective management of cervical cancer processes that health professionals follow current developments and reflect them in care in order to provide qualified care. For this reason, this article has been discussed in order to draw attention to the importance of care and the way to be followed by nurses who will give care in cervical cancer processes.
