Synopsis

In recent years, it has become imperative for all service sectors to keep service standards at high levels in order to ensure uninterrupted and regular supply of citizens' needs. Especially with the increase in the level of education and income of citizens, individual expectations are also increasing, and therefore, in order to meet these expectations, a competitive environment arises in the public sphere. Today, public institutions serving our citizens have started to accelerate their standard studies for quality, adopted the citizen-oriented management method and carried out researches on bringing it to a continuous state. In this study, it is examined whether it is possible to increase the satisfaction of all citizens receiving public services with the transformations to be realised in the processes of doing business without the need for much cost in public institutions. In addition, the issue of whether a more functional service quality can be provided without reducing the professional satisfaction of employees working in public institutions and without incurring heavy costs has been put forward with scientific data. Through this research, it is aimed to provide a new perspective to all restructured and restructuring public institutions in Turkey.
