Theory, Research and Debates in Social Sciences - 2
Synopsis
Social sciences is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge that seeks to understand the dynamic structure of societies, analyse the relationships between individuals and institutions and explain the transformations. This book is a multifaceted compilation shaped by original research covering different themes of this broad and multi-layered field. This book titled ‘Theory, Research and Debates in Social Sciences - 2’ consists of scientific contributions that look at the main discussion areas of social sciences from different theoretical perspectives and are based on current research methods.
The chapters in the book focus on different dimensions of social sciences such as organisational communication, comparison of leadership characteristics, the impact of digital transformation on the accounting profession, gastronomy tourism in the context of mobile kitchens, financial convergence hypothesis, competitiveness of SMEs and government support, earnings management; each of them offers both theoretical and empirical contributions in its discipline. In addition, the bibliometric analysis in the field of disabled tourism provides a unique approach to the themes of accessibility and inclusion in the social sciences.
In line with the nature of social sciences, which brings theory and practice together, this work is capable of guiding not only the academic world but also policymakers, sectoral stakeholders, and practitioners. The common denominator of the studies included in the compilation is that they offer a solution-oriented, scientifically based approach that is sensitive to society's needs.
It is our greatest hope that this second volume of this series will develop interdisciplinary thinking skills in the social sciences, inspire new research, and make valuable contributions to the literature. We would like to thank all our contributing authors and everyone who brought these valuable studies together and made them available to readers.
