Synopsis
This study is prepared to discuss the relationship between the disciplines of Public Administration and International Relations in today's global world and how the relationships between the two disciplines should be established. Throughout history, the ties between Public Administration and International Relations have developed very strongly, contrary to what is thought. Because both of them emerged from the evolution of Political Science over the centuries. Although the development of these three disciplines includes different concepts, they have been affected by the scientific developments in today's global world and the differences between them have now become closer. Today, Political Science is the umbrella of both disciplines and also assumes the role of being the glue between the two disciplines. In this respect, it is possible to say that Political Science is a field that unites and connects Public Administration and International Relations. Therefore, it is necessary to benefit from the characteristics of Political Science when considering the connection between the two disciplines. The gradual development of the international system, globalization and the roles undertaken by nation-state structures have now made the disciplines of Public Administration and International Relations overlap with each other.
