Synopsis

One of the most significant revolutions of the information age is the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Knowledge Management, which has brought about transformative effects in the domains of health, education, and society. As digitalization rapidly advances, the ways in which information is accessed, processed, and managed are undergoing profound changes. This book aims to contribute to the knowledge ecosystem with an interdisciplinary perspective, focusing on innovative applications of artificial intelligence and knowledge management across various sectors.

This volume encompasses comprehensive studies prepared by field experts, combining theoretical frameworks and practical applications in areas ranging from library and information science to health communication and digital archiving.

The chapter titled "A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications on Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Library and Information Science" evaluates the trends and academic reflections of AI-based information systems through statistical approaches. Meanwhile, "Artificial Intelligence Applications in Health Communication" explores how AI-supported models have transformed patient-healthcare provider interactions and improved healthcare services.

Today, health literacy is a critical component that enables individuals to access and effectively utilize health services. The chapter titled "From Health Literacy to Digital Health Literacy: The Evolution of Medical Secretarial Education" analyzes the changing dynamics of the medical secretarial profession and its adaptation to digital health services. Additionally, the section "A Quantitative and Qualitative Evaluation of Postgraduate Theses in the Field of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies" presents a systematic review of academic research produced in this domain.

As knowledge management undergoes digital transformation, the chapter "New Horizons in Digital Knowledge Management: AI-Supported Systems" investigates how AI technologies can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of knowledge management systems. Furthermore, "Open Data and Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges" discusses the interplay between open science policies and AI technologies in reshaping data sharing and governance practices.

Adding a historical perspective, the chapter titled "Tracing the Path of Writing: From Ancient Libraries to Digital Archives" provides an in-depth examination of the evolution of information preservation practices, from antiquity to the modern digital era.

This book seeks to serve as a valuable reference for academics, researchers, and professionals working in the intersecting fields of knowledge management, artificial intelligence, health, and education. It aims to build a bridge between disciplines, offering both a conceptual framework and practical insights into how information is produced, managed, and accessed in the digital age.

We hope that this work will contribute meaningfully to the scientific community and relevant stakeholders, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all authors and researchers who have made this publication possible.
