Synopsis
In this study, the role of preschool teachers' perceptions of organizational silence on their perceptions of principal management style was examined. In this context, the study was conducted with preschool teachers in public and private kindergartens in Istanbul. The study group of the research in which relational survey model was used consisted of 373 preschool teachers. The data were obtained with a scale measuring principal management style and a scale measuring teachers' perceptions of organizational silence. According to the results obtained from the study, it was determined that preschool teachers' perceptions of organizational silence were effective on their perceptions of principal management style. In this context, significant differences were observed in the sub-dimensions of source of silence, school environment, manager status and emotional state. Various suggestions were given within the scope of the study.
