Synopsis

This study examines the multifaceted impact of fatherhood on child development, focusing on different developmental domains, age periods, and theoretical frameworks. How fathers contribute to children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, how the role of fathers changes in different age periods, and the cultural and social factors that shape fathering roles are discussed. The study also examines the prominent theories analyzing fatherhood in detail. In addition, the challenges that fathers face and the sources of support that can help them cope with these challenges are also discussed. The study emphasizes the importance of fatherhood for child development and encourages fathers to be more actively involved in child-rearing. Fathers' strong and loving relationships with their children are essential for children's healthy development, happiness, and society's well-being.
