This chapter discusses the current state of the spare parts sector, a major component of the automotive industry, along with its global and national dynamics, technological and environmental transformations, and future forecasts and opportunities. As the global automotive industry shifts toward environmentally friendly vehicles, elements of Industry 4.0 are enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of production processes. Furthermore, the automotive spare parts sector is increasing its global competitiveness through digitalization. Turkey possesses the potential to become a regional powerhouse in automotive spare parts production; however, aligning with global trends requires increased investment in R&D, as well as greater emphasis on digitalization and environmental sustainability. The study highlights the importance of integrating contemporary technologies for automotive spare parts manufacturers. Additionally, it concludes that strategic steps must be taken to leverage the contributions of green innovation to the sector and to achieve environmental sustainability goals.
