Synopsis
The present study delves into the ethical dimension of decision-making processes in educational management. The decisions made by educational administrators have a quite broad impact, ranging from academic success to teachers' professional development. Ethically grounded decision-making processes do play an eminent role in assuring justice, equity, and accountability in educational organizations. The current study investigates the stages of decision-making, rational and intuitive decision-making models, ethical leadership, and the ethical dilemmas faced by administrators. Further, it evaluates conflicts of interest, resource constraints, and the effect of legal frameworks on ethical decision-making. The findings highlight that integrating ethical principles into educational management processes enhances organizational trust and improves the overall quality of education. Briefly, deploying ethically grounded decision-making processes is kernel to sustainability in education and for greater societal benefits.
