Synopsis

In the beginning, there was Töre. And that tradition was a word: Kun / Be…

Allah created the Töre, wrote its book, and taught it to Adam…

Those who followed the Töre, preserved it, and remained with the Töre were called Turks…

Those who took this principle as their guide and strove to attain that word were called Töreli…

In the sight of Allah, the true religion is Islam. From the first prophet to the last and up to our present time, Islam has always remained, with its fundamental tenets unchanged. Although prophets were sent to different societies with rules and regulations suitable for their conditions and way of life, the core beliefs of faith—Aqidah—remained constant. When this tawhidic doctrine was corrupted and distorted, Allah, in His wisdom, sent warners, writers of Töre, and prophets as role models to reinforce and restore the true faith. Thus, we can consider Töre as the entirety of authentic laws that have existed from the first human until today.

Religions may be altered, states may collapse, but Töre endures. It is ever-present, ever-lasting…

For the past two centuries, both Töre and those who uphold it have been subject to corruption, concealment, and at the very least, marginalization by the so-called “religion of positivism” and its adherents—institutions and structures aligned with Western civilization.

It may be said that this effort has been partially successful. However, we say “partially” because truth has an intrinsic nature—it must reveal itself and manifest. Falsehood, on the other hand, is destined to perish before the truth.

One of the ultimate aims of this book and the Töreli authors gathered within it is to remember, remind, and revive the Töre, which has been veiled and obscured for the past two centuries.

Our concern is to recall and remind the world of a scholarly understanding that places human beings at the center, preserves reason, property, lineage, religion, and life, and aligns with authentic law—a tradition that has been undermined and nearly forgotten through imperialist assaults over the past two centuries.
