Synopsis
Athlete health is a holistic concept that is not limited to physical endurance and performance, but also includes mental and emotional factors. Psychological endurance refers to athletes’ ability to cope with stress, pressure and challenging conditions. This ability increases both individual success in athletes and strengthens harmony in team sports. Mental health is of critical importance in terms of the sustainability of motivation, focus and self-confidence in athletes. In addition to their physical performance, athletes’ mental and emotional health is also of great importance. Psychological endurance supports athletes’ ability to cope with pressure and challenges, while mental health supports their motivation, focus and general happiness. This issue affects not only athletes’ performance but also the sustainability of their sports lives. Mental health problems can lead to burnout, stress and anxiety in athletes, leading to decreased performance and a decrease in quality of life. Strengthening psychological endurance and maintaining mental health contributes to both athletes’ success and their general life balance. Therefore, athlete health is a fundamental issue that needs to be focused on. As a result, protecting athletes’ mental and emotional health is vital for their long-term success and happiness. Studies in this area will provide valuable contributions to both individual development and the social impact of sports.
