Synopsis

Crisis management in sports facilities is a critical process aimed at minimizing the effects of adverse situations faced by organizations and developing future-oriented strategies. Crises are considered elements that threaten corporate reputation and therefore require effective management. Crisis management focuses on ensuring that the process is navigated with minimal loss, drawing lessons from the crisis, and preparing to cope with similar situations in the future.

For example, the Covid-19 pandemic can be seen as a significant turning point in crisis management for sports organizations. During this process, the leadership skills of sports managers and the measures taken have increased the effectiveness of crisis management. Making quick and effective decisions during crises is a key factor that determines the success of managers. Additionally, crises also have the potential to enhance the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities.

In conclusion, crisis management in sports facilities plays an important role not only in reducing the negative impacts of crises but also in increasing the resilience of organizations and evaluating future opportunities.
