Synopsis
This study emphasizes that sports education is a process shaped not only by physical skill and performance development but also by moral and ethical values. It addresses the ethical dimensions of sports education within the framework of the ethical responsibilities of athletes, coaches, referees, and other stakeholders. Sports education targets not only the sporting success of individuals but also their character development. In this context, ethical principles such as respect, honesty, justice, empathy, and fair play play a fundamental role in sports education. Additionally, the impact of sports on society, the need for individuals to fulfill their social responsibilities, and the need for sports to develop in harmony with social values are discussed. The study reveals that the ethical responsibilities and social impacts of sports education contribute to the formation of a healthy sports culture and that these values affect the behavior of athletes not only on the field of play but also in their lives.
