Synopsis

This study examines the role of pedagogy and sports pedagogy in education and their relationships with each other. Pedagogy is a discipline that forms the basis of sports education processes and plays a vital role in shaping teaching methods. This discipline includes what to teach and developing strategies necessary for managing the education process and meeting student needs. Sports pedagogy is a discipline at the intersection of education and sports. It aims to support individuals' physical, mental, and social development by addressing the pedagogical dimensions of sports. With elements such as developing psychomotor skills in childhood, gaining self-confidence, and increasing social skills, sports pedagogy is not limited to physical health but also contributes to strengthening individuals' social relationships. Sports pedagogy aims for individuals to acquire healthy habits throughout their lives, develop social skills, and grow up as individuals in compliance with social values. While this field strengthens the connection between education and sports, it also encourages the emotional development of individuals. Pedagogical problems are situations encountered in teaching processes that prevent students from learning. Such problems may arise from students' social, psychological, or physiological conditions and may negatively affect the effectiveness of the teaching process. Sports pedagogy needs to develop and adapt pedagogical knowledge to enable teachers to produce solutions to such problems and to increase the effectiveness of educational methods.
