With the rapid development of technology and the internet becoming more and more present in every aspect of our lives, digital marketing has become an indispensable tool for businesses to succeed. Digital marketing is a set of strategies that enable brands to reach their target audiences through digital channels. Thanks to the opportunities provided by the internet, businesses can reach their potential customers faster and more effectively and gain growth opportunities with the right strategies. The importance of digital marketing strategies has increased in today's competitive business world. One of the biggest advantages of digital marketing is that businesses have access to a global audience. While it is possible to address local or regional markets with traditional marketing methods, it is quite easy to reach potential customers around the world thanks to digital marketing and strategies. Digital marketing provides great advantages to businesses with its ease of measurement and data analysis, cost-effectiveness, contributions to targeting and personalized marketing, fast return and flexibility, and its effects on brand awareness and trust.
Various strategies have been developed for digital marketing. For example, methods such as content marketing, SEO, SEM, social media marketing and email marketing form the cornerstones of the digital marketing world. Inbound marketing seeks to influence consumers by providing valuable content to attract leads for brands, while SEO and SEM direct organic and paid traffic through search engines, making it easier for consumers to find content. ABM enables personalized strategies to be developed for specific targeted accounts, while social media marketing and PPC advertising are effective tools for brands to reach large audiences. In recent years, short video marketing and chat technologies, especially chatbots and artificial intelligence applications, have become increasingly influential. AI-powered systems such as ChatGPT offer great advantages in improving customer experience and delivering personalized content. In addition, we see the effects of the cooperation between the business, influencer and consumer triangle with the trust effect of influencer marketing. As a result, the correct implementation of digital marketing strategies enables brands to gain competitive advantage and lays the foundation for sustainable growth in the digital world.
In this framework, the aim of the study is to analyze recent digital marketing developments and to reveal how they may affect business strategies. In line with the aim of the study, an extensive literature review has been conducted and current strategies have been tried to be explained as simply and concisely as possible. The study aims to be a guiding resource for academics and marketing professionals who are knowledgeable about digital marketing strategies by bringing together current trends and the latest publications.
