Synopsis
Nowadays, medical documentation and secretarial services have a very important role in the effective, efficient and regular provision of health services. Medical secretaries are healthcare professionals who undertake sensitive tasks such as arranging medical documents, keeping patient records, as well as providing communication between health institutions and organisations and patients and between health professionals and patients. These tasks are important for the continuity of patient treatment and improving the quality of health services.
Medical documentation is an important resource for administrative, legal and scientific processes by ensuring that patient information is recorded accurately and reliably. Medical secretaries' effective organisational skills, communication skills and competence in using digital health systems are the key to success in this field.
Increasing vocational training and development opportunities will increase the performance and productivity of medical secretaries, which in turn will increase the performance and productivity of health institutions. In conclusion, we can say that medical documentation and secretariat is an indispensable important element that directly affects patient satisfaction, quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
