Significant advances have been made in today's technology and human life has been affected both economically and socially by these developments. In particular, digitalisation has transformed the sectors by gaining a different dimension and has created various business lines and new professions. In the 21st century, where everything is moved to the digital environment, from daily routine work to the services provided by large companies, especially tourism businesses and destinations use e-marketing tools by taking advantage of these opportunities of technology. Although these advances continue, it reflects a reality that more advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence will take place in our lives and more advanced technologies will be used in the future. In addition, this book titled ‘Digitalisation in Tourism and E-Tourism Marketing Strategies’, which includes theoretical studies, will be useful for researchers, academicians and students interested in tourism, digitalisation and e-marketing and will be an inspiration for future studies.
This book, composed of authors who conduct academic studies, consists of a total of 10 chapters. The first chapter was researched by Hilal Gündoğan under the title ‘Digitalisation in the Tourism Sector’. The second chapter was handled by Selim Alan with the title of ‘E- Marketing in Tourism Sector’. The third chapter was examined by Yasemin Ceylan with the title of “New Generation Technologies in Tourism Marketing”. The fourth and fifth chapters were written by Abdulkadir Uyrun with the titles ‘Brand Equity in E-Tourism Sector’ and ‘Image Perception in E-Tourism Sector’. The sixth chapter was examined by Murat Göral and Aziz Bükey with the title of “Customer Experience and Interaction in E-Tourism Sector”. The seventh chapter was researched by Abdulvahap Altürk and Tuğba Arık Yüksel with the title of ‘Customer Satisfaction in E- Tourism Sector’. The eighth chapter is titled ‘Customer Loyalty in the E-Tourism Sector’ by Yenal Yağmur and Müge Kardeş. The ninth chapter was examined by Kerim Coşkun under the title of “Digital Nomads in Tourism”. The tenth and last chapter was examined by Aziz Bükey and Yusuf Gökçe under the title of “Digital Marketing Examples in the Tourism Sector”.
