Today, employees have entered a difficult situation to understand due to the global change in their relationships with each other, their lifestyles and habits. In this situation, employees have started to choose to leave their jobs mentally, if not physically. Employees mentally leave their jobs with the silent resignation behavior, where employees keep the duties that come with their job descriptions in their organizations to a minimum, do not take on new tasks and extra responsibilities, and give up trying. The silent resignation behavior preferred by employees has become even more difficult for managers and organizations. Because in the silent resignation behavior, where employees do not share their opinions, information, thoughts and concerns, their loyalty to the organization decreases and their motivation decreases. This situation negatively affects the success of the organization. This study explains the silent resignation behavior that today's employees exhibit a lot. Silent resignation behavior is first examined as a concept, and the theories it is based on, its causes, symptoms, stages, results and methods of struggle and its ethical dimension are explained. Silent resignation behavior, which produces a negative result in terms of employees, managers and organizations, should not be ignored; it should be transformed into a contribution to the success of employees, managers and organizations.
